Weight Loss Solutions

So congratulations. You've lost some weight. Now, how do you keep it off?
When you've spent weeks or even months striving and sacrificing, you don't want to have your spirits sink as you see the scale start to go up. For most of us, regardless of our weight loss method, weight regain is a real possibility. But is it inevitable?
Follow these five sure tricks, and your scale will stay put:
If you gain a pound, lose it. People who are successful at maintaining a weight loss weigh themselves at least twice a week. Pick regular times of day, and regular days of the week, to weigh and keep a chart. If you find you're up a pound or two, follow a healthy and structured food plan until the extra weight comes off again.
Have planned snacks instead of grazing. To combat rampant, spontaneous snacking, plan a couple of balanced snacks every day that you can measure out and enjoy. Be sure to include some protein and complex carbohydrates in your snack. If you feed yourself a bit more frequently, you will be less likely to graze mindlessly.
Balance your treats with healthy choices. You can have an occasional treat, but you can also have an occasional healthy choice. Keep the treat small so that you don't get a big sugar or unrefined carb rush. And if you must eat sugar or an unrefined carb, eat a little protein with it so that your blood sugar doesn't crash and cause cravings for more of the same.
Admit your trigger foods and avoid them. Most you have to do is look at certain foods and you know you'll eat them. Don't keep any snack foods in plain site around your house. Put them away. If you find yourself going to the cupboard or refrigerator to peruse the snack items, you'll need to keep the trigger foods out of your house altogether.
Experhyment and use the tools that work for you. Several dieters hate the act of writing down what they eat. Some dislike exercise. Others abhor weighing and measuring their food. Still others will not give up sugar and unrefined carbs. You need to be honest with yourself, though. These tools are proven to work. So, experhyment with all the tools available to you and use the ones that work.
Weight regain is not inevitable, but you need to take action to avoid it. Apply these solutions to your life and you will find weight maintenance to be simple and satisfying.

Smoothie Diet Plan

Posted under Diet Plan by admin on Thursday 26 January 2012 at 12:15 am

I see it all over the magazines- "How to lose 10 lbs in a Week by using the Smoothie Diet Plan". What are the advantages of drinking nothing but smoothies? How does this make you lose more weight. After looking around, I learned — They help you get filled up on mostly liquid. If you do green smoothies with greens like parsley and pineapple juice then you get lots of trace minerals. Fruit smoothies taste good and have a lot of fiber and nutrients. The fiber helps to carry out the fat. Vegetable smoothies will give you minerals and protein and lots of vitamins. It's easy you don't have to do much chewing.

Bodybuilding Diet Plan

Posted under Diet Plan by admin on Sunday 1 January 2012 at 3:31 am

I'm 17 and a 'bodybuilder'. My workouts are very good but my diet is mixed. I try and eat healthy all the time but I want MORE. I recently looked on the internet and saw a bodybuilding diet plan for TOM VENUTO, he was using this diet to lose fat (around 5-7% bodyfat) and also gain muscle. I copied it and am thinking of sticking to it and see what happens, (I need to be on peak form in a few weeks for an event). Is it healthy and okay to stick to this diet all year round – or until I get bored, to gain muscle and lose fat or should I just eat the same diet I'm on now??? Thanks. What I found out was – I would not use his diet. He is completely different from you and what he does might not work for you. You could look at his plan and maybe pull out some things that you think might work for you. It is best to use a trial and error approach on anything in bodybuilding. Try something for a while and if it works keep going and if not fix it up a bit and try that and repeat. Do not stick to a strict fat loss diet all year around, you'll be depriving you body of serious nutrients. Fat loss diets are to be used for about 8-12ish weeks. If you want to gain muscle add in good carbs to your diet (keeping sat and trans fat to a minimum at all times), and of course a lot of protein. Don't be afraid of putting on some extra fat, you need the extra calories to gain muscle (just don't eat like a slob). When it comes time for your precontest diet, then cut back on the carbs, especially easy carbs. And as always, lift very intensely and listen to your body, it will tell you what it needs and does not need, when to keep going and when to stop. Good Luck
