I already know it isn't that healthy, so don't tell me that, I am simply asking for some answers. So if you are against this, don't post an answer because this is my body and you don't make the ultimate decision. How ever my question is how much weight can I lose on a 30 liquid fast? I have already lost 20 pounds with exercise and healthy diet and I have 23 pounds left to lose. Summer will be here in 69 days and I want to get down to my original weight 115. I am 5'3, and I have a small frame and that is the weight I feel comfortable at. My liquid fast will be mostly of water, and home made juice containing fruits and vegetables. I am considering going on this fast for 30 days then slowly ease my way back into eating healthy foods. I assume I have lost all of my water weight, so how many pounds do you think I will lose in that month? I'm the type of person that will maintain my weight loss once it is gone so I don't want to hear about gaining it back. Well, I have your answer. Water is a VERY good tool to use when trying to lose weight. Drink plenty of water. Our body needs a lot of water so give in to water. Water is not just way to flush out toxin but if you have more water in your body you will often feel healthier and fitter. This it self will discourage any tendency to gorge. The best thing about water is that is has no calories at all. Drink a glass of water before you start the meal. Water naturally needs some space so that you feel fuller without actually having to stuff yourself. Have another glass of water while you are having the meal. Again this is another way of making yourself full so that you can actually rise from the table eating less but feeling full just the same. Instead of drinking it one gulp, take sips after each morsel. It will help the food to settle faster so that you get that feeling that you are full faster. Water is such a remarkable thing, but seldom do we give it the credit that it deserves. Did you know that over 66% of your body weight is nothing but water’ It’s amazing. Water also plays a vital role in weight control, which is why I donated so much space to it, above. Stay away from sweetened bottle drinks, especially sodas. All those colas and fizzy drinks are sweetened with sugar and sugar means calories. The more you can cut out on these sweetened bottle drinks, the better for you. So if you must drink sodas, then stick to diet sodas. Include in your diet things that contain more water like tomatoes and watermelons. These things contain 90 to 95 % water so that there is nothing that you have to lose by feasting on them. They fill you up without adding to the pounds.

After writing about the fact that many people complain about being "fat", yet do nothing about it, I thought it might be a good idea to write one about a way you can lose weight. Well, maybe not any particular way, but a variety of ways. . .

For starters, if you want to lose weight, you can take the obvious road – Jenny Craig. Why not? It has worked great for many, many people, including the inflated, and now slightly deflated, Kirste Alley. But some people are too embaressed to walk into a Jenny Craig. Maybe because people can see you do it, but thats beside the point. What else can you do?

Take pills! Sure. . . . It too has worked for a great number of people. Weight loss pills are very common, and easy to get your hands on. Try the Adipex Diet Pill if you like. But most people look for excuses not to do that either, as it can be embaressing if someone is to see you take them.

Well then, that brings us to the perfect solution – WATCH WHAT YOU EAT! There is no need to pay all kinds of money for "Weight Watchers" or "Jenny Craig", or take embaressing weight loss pills, just simply take note of what you are eating, and try to take on some healthier habits. If you notice that you are eating a lot of junk food, try and cut back. Try to change your snack foods to fruits and vegetables, or maybe even just eat less. Watch the amount of food you are taking in, and that in itself can give you results.
